Amy Crooks

Photo restoration artist and genealogist

I have always had a passion for photos. My first job was working at a photography studio, followed by another studio years later. I didn't make good money at either job, but boy did I love what I did, especially at the second one. I was working at the second studio back in 2000-02 when the photographer began training me to do photo restorations. I fell in love with it and never looked back. It has taken me years for volunteering and practicing, but I have finally taken my skills to a whole new level.

Along the way, I also discovered that my love for history ran deeper than just enjoying reading about it and hearing stories. I started researching my own family back in 2004 and I've never stopped. I now do research for others who are trying to find their roots.

Between photo restoration, genealogy and digital scrapbooking I am able to offer just the services a customer needs or the whole package to help them create a lasting treasure to be handed down for generations.
